IFMA Switzerland

IFMA Switzerland is the Swiss Chapter of the world’s largest and most widely recognized international association for professional facility managers. Our members benefit from learning at an early stage of future developments in our industry sector and from networking with facility professionals worldwide. The aim of IFMA Switzerland is to reflect Facility Management in its entire scope and to show the importance of its manifold cross-sectional functions within each and every enterprise.

Thanks to its integral orientation, IFMA is perceived as a top professional institution that looks into all aspects of Facility Management. Our members most of whom hold executive positions maintain an attractive network. Regional sections in all parts of Switzerland offer additional possibilities for exchange of experience.

Our members profit from a wide choice of events. Site Visits, Expert Talks as well as seminars with reduced attendance fees organized by cooperation partners allow them to share Best Practice and to introduce their own ideas and experience. IFMA Spotlights deal with topics of particular importance where prominent speakers from Switzerland and abroad provide in-depth information in the field of FM.

IFMA Switzerland commits itself in the field of education and training. It certifies training modules by technical colleges or universities of applied sciences and grants the title “Certified Facility Manager” to professionals who substantiate their FM expertise attained through on-the-job experience.

IFMA Switzerland serves the local FM community by issuing directives and providing guidelines for orientation within the international environment. Current publications like “Life-cycle cost analysis”, “Job Profile of the Facility Manager” and “Process / Performance Model - ProLeMo” have earned high recognition in Switzerland and internationally.
