The IFMA Switzerland is a professional association in facility management with an international orientation. Our members can deal with future developments in the industry early on and actively use the worldwide network. The objective of IFMA Switzerland is to reflect facility management in its entire spectrum and to give the diverse cross-section tasks the necessary importance within an individual company.

Through its holistic orientation, IFMA is the recognized association for FM professionals who deal with all aspects of facility management. Our members, who are mainly active in management positions, have an extremely interesting network. Regional groups throughout all regions in Switzerland also offer possibilities for sharing local experiences.

Our members profits from a wide selection of events. During site visits, expert talks or discounted seminars from cooperation partners, they get to know best practices and can actively provide their experiences. In addition to this is the IFMA Spotlight. Domestically and internationally renowned speakers deal extensively with current top subjects from the FM industry.

The IFMA Switzerland is actively dedicated to the area of education. We certify technical college courses and maintain a current overview of all training and education possibilities. With the Certified Facility Manager exams, IFMA also certifies facility managers who have established their knowledge on the job through years of experience.

With the publication of directives for facility management, IFMA Switzerland also promotes the development of local industries in the international environment. Publications like “Life Cycle Costs Determination for Real Estate”, “Process Performance Model ProLeMo” or the “Practical Guideline for Planning and Construction Accompanying Facility Management” enjoy high esteem both nationally and internationally. Another milestone was made with the Standard Item Catalog for Facility Management (NPK FM).
